Regulation Station: a quiet space
Need a quiet space to recharge?
If you're feeling overstimulated, overwhelmed, or just need a moment to pause and regulate, we've got you covered. At this year’s Go Play, we've set up a Regulation Station: a calm, quiet space, also known as a "calm corner" or "sensory corner".
Inside the Regulation Station – located in a low-traffic area – you'll find gentle lighting and a supportive environment to pause, reflect, and engage in activities that promote emotional balance and self-regulation. Trained staff from Just Support will be on hand to offer guidance and assist with any specific sensory needs you may have.
The map on this page will help you locate Go Play's Regulation Station. But if you need more help finding it on the day, please ask one of our friendly Hearth Wardens.
The Regulation Station is designed to meet the sensory and emotional requirements of attendees with diverse needs, including those with sensory processing challenges and neurodivergence. This initiative is made possible through a thoughtful collaboration between Go Play and Just Support who share a commitment to making Go Play inclusive and welcoming for all.
